Claremont College is a thriving co-educational primary school and one of the oldest surviving independent schools in Australia. The College aims to provide a comprehensive primary school education (Kindergarten to Year 6) within a caring and supportive Christian environment. The Christian teaching program includes weekly assemblies with Bible-based talks from the Principal. Parent support and outreach programs are also an integral part of the ministry of the school.
School -based social skills and peer support programs assist in providing a caring and friendly school environment. There is a strong library focus fostering a cooperative teaching and planning approach between teachers and librarians.
